One in every four people living in the Bradford District and Craven will experience a mental health problem during their lifetime. Healthy Minds is working with Mind in Bradford to improve the mental wellbeing of everyone in our region and keep minds healthy, all year round.
The brief was to create an animation to help people talk openly about mental health. Healthy Minds aims to promote positive mental health and reduce the discrimination experienced by people with mental illness.
Story boarding was a collaboration between myself and the team at Healthy Minds. The next part of the process involved working with Claudia Bower who produced the brand guidelines and illustrations. The motion graphic video uses very simple character animation and was created using After effects.
