This is a video about the life expectancy of Bradford residents that is skewed by the level of deprivation in the city. It uses motion graphics to demonstrate how inequality can impact on your life. A collaboration with the NHS and other mental health organisations, the video will be used for education and training purposes.
The brief was to create an animation to show the unfair and avoidable differences in health across the population and between different groups within society.
Story boarding was a collaboration between myself and the team at Healthy Minds. The next part of the process involved working with Claudia Bower who produced the brand guidelines and illustrations. The motion graphic video uses very simple character animation and was created using After effects.
